Minimum System Requirements

The OrchestrateIT Client is a Microsoft Windows desktop application that integrates with a Microsoft SQL Database. The OrchestrateIT Client has the following minimum system requirements:

  • Access to a proxy-free internet connection for a one-time license authorization. You can use mobile hotspots for this process. This is only required when setting up your database – not during the installation for each OrchestrateIT workstation instance.
  • Microsoft Windows clients running Windows 7 or later (x64 or x86). 15MB available disk space. Minimum 1GB RAM.
  • Client must have a live network connection to the SQL database at all times. There is no support for offline use.
  • Recommended screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 or greater for best viewing experience.
  • An unblocked port for database communications within your corporate network (ie. TCP port 1433). This port does not need to be accessible to WAN/internet.
  • A server running Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 or later with SQL Server 2012 or later installed and configured to use an SQL-based account for application-database authentication.
