Upgrading an Existing Installation

Upgrading an existing version of OrchestrateIT Connect and OrchestrateIT Connect SGSS Connector can be conducted using our automated patching tool.

Follow the steps below to perform an upgrade:

  1. Sign in to the OrchestrateIT Download Portal
  2. Download the latest version of the ‘OrchestrateIT Connect Upgrade Patch’
  3. Download the latest version of the ‘SGSS Connector Upgrade Patch’ (if you are using the Symantec GSS integration feature)
  4. Execute the packages on the server(s) that OrchestrateIT Connect and the SGSS Connector are installed on.
  5. Ensure that the installation directory is specified accurately. The default application installation directories are: “C:\Program Files (x86)\OrchestrateIT\OrchestrateIT Connect” and “C:\Program Files (x86)\OrchestrateIT\OrchestrateIT Connect SGSS Connector”.
  6. Click the ‘Patch’ button.
